Shadow Quiz can be annoying at times, most notably when it chooses a food that has a plate on it, making the pick a complete guess on what it's supposed to be.The expression of the mii's face might hint on which card to choose, but sometimes, their expressions can even lead to you picking the wrong card. Cards is a bad minigame because it's purely based on luck, since there isn't really any easy method of trying to pick the right card.As mentioned earlier, most of the minigames are a bit simplistic, and some can be rather annoying too:.The lack of same-sex relationships in the game can be bypassed by making a female Mii with a masculine appearance, and vise versa. In fact, in the Japanese version, you can even make the kids and adults date, which is pedophilia. You can't give your Miis different sexualities, for example, it is not possible to have homosexual relationships with the Miis or to make your Miis transgender, which actually gained lots of controversy to the point where Nintendo had to apologise for it.The Miis sometimes say some funny quotes such as:.You can even give make of the male miis wear female outfits, which is humorous, similar to Animal Crossing. ![]() You can also give them humorous clothes and hats, such as a hamster costume or a hot-dog costume. You can give them some awesome interiors, such as the sea, a soccer field, a "real" room, a prison cell (great for your least favourite Mii), a fast food room, a cinema, the sky, etc.You can also get them to go on dates (only if they are dating though) that can be in any location and you can also give them gifts which they will play with in specific locations. You can get the Miis to say phrases that can be whatever you want (except for profanity). They can also love it so much their face turns into the mouth-open, showing teeth happy face regardless of whether or not they have it, or even fly all the way up to space and make a robotic sound (which is presumably "Yum!"). Miis can have certain reactions to what you give them to eat, as they can hate it so much they dramatically get down on the floor, or even turn gray and melt into the ground and end up biting themselves when they revive. You can also choose the location to where you want them to confess their love. When your Miis get feelings for someone, you can give them a huge chunk of options to how you want them to share their feelings, including acting cute, traditional, romantic, desperate, or even giving your own piece of dialogue. The minigames, whilst simplistic, are quite fun to play, and most of them are different and unique from each other, including Wrestling, Cards, Mii Facts, Zoom, Pixel and Shadow quizzes, etc. ![]() ![]() Speaking of which, you can create your own songs in the game and write your own lyrics. You can level up Miis and give them rewards, like a gift, a catchphrase and even a song to sing.Using StreetPass, if you walk past somebody and that other person has tomodachi life, you can get special edition clothes and food. You are able to make your own QR codes for you Miis, which helpful if you want send/recieve Miis from other players of the game.Though unlike The Sims, it works in a different way where your Miis have problems and you have to help them with those problems. The game works in a similar concept to The Sims, which you can create your own Miis and interact with them and watch them interact with each other so much that they can start dating, get married, have kids, break up/divorce, etc. It's a decent improvement to the previous game, Tomodachi Collection.Note that, much like the daily Travelers' Hub announcements, the player can load a different letter (thus potentially changing the ticket reward) on the same day by resetting the game before the title screen is loaded. ![]() After reading the letter, the player is then rewarded with either Game Tickets or Outing Tickets. A letter's sender is one of the random non-playable Mii characters that have been available and interacted with so far in the current save file. Unlike the letters delivered to the player by the Prodigious Postman and the letter delivery prompts that occur at certain points in the game, one daily letter immediately pops up upon the player booting up the game on a new day, before the title screen is even shown (if the game was resumed from the console's Sleep Mode, then the letter will show up during certain screen transitions).
